O que parecia ser o posfácio, no final de uma Pandemia, foi apenas o começo de um novo capítulo. O Mundo parece mais enviesado agora, repleto de conflitos – políticos, económicos, ambientais, sociais. Já não é novidade, sabemos bem, é sim nova realidade que não se pode normalizar. Em 2025, é tempo de enfrentar a realidade e encontrar as novas regras para este novo Mundo político polarizado e com adventos totalitários; novas regras que salvem o Planeta onde vivemos; regras para nos relacionarmos de forma responsável com o Espaço.

A Inteligência Artificial e a Ciência Quântica devem ser reguladas, salvaguardando uma ética da Natureza e do Homem, temperando ambições idealistas, totalizantes, ancoradas em ideias sebastianistas e mitológicas. Que novo Super-Homem está a surgir? Que Gaia Ciência? Que vontade de poder? A ideia de autossuficiência, de juventude eterna, a longevidade levada ao extremo serão metas certas? Como encarar e resolver a doença mental e a solidão? Como respeitar o Espaço sem abandonar a Terra? Como vão conseguir as Democracias ganhar a Guerra?

Mais do que dar as respostas certas, queremos enfrentar as ideias feitas, o curso avassalador dos acontecimentos reais e virtuais, e dar um sentido de urgência à necessidade de estabelecer as novas regras do jogo para um ‘golpe final’ de lucidez, humanidade e razão comovida. Chegou o momento para tomar decisões sem medo de ideologias segregadoras, dar um ‘murro na mesa’ e interromper o ruído ensurdecedor feito por tantos Super-Homens.

Está na hora de avançar, marcar posições e desenhar o nosso futuro assertivamente. As novas regras do jogo estão à espera de quem as escreva.

What seemed like an epilogue at the end of a pandemic was merely the beginning of a new chapter. The world now feels more skewed, full of conflicts—political, economic, environmental, and social. This is a new reality that shouldn’t be normalized. In 2025, it is time to confront reality and establish new rules for a polarized political world with emerging totalitarian tendencies; new rules to save the planet we inhabit; and rules for engaging responsibly towards Space.

Artificial Intelligence and Quantum Science must be regulated, safeguarding ethics for nature and humankind, tempering idealistic, totalizing ambitions rooted in mythical, messianic ideas. A new Superman is emerging? What Gaia Science? What will to power? Are self-sufficiency, eternal youth, and extreme longevity the right targets?

How mental illness and loneliness should be addressed and resolved? How can we respect Space without abandoning Earth? How can Democracies win the War?

More than finding the right answers, we aim to challenge preconceived ideas, confront the overwhelming pace of events, and inject urgency to establish new rules of the game for a ‘final push’ of lucidity, humanity, and compassionate reason. It is time to make decisions free from divisive ideologies, to put one`s foot down and interrupt the deafening noise made by so many Supermen. It is time to move forward, take a stand, and design our future assertively. The new rules of the game await their authors.
